The Contest of scenarios organized by Bekmambetov has started |
 The “Saby” Charitable Foundation has accepted enthusiastically a proposal from Timur Bekmambetov to establish a partnership in the Contest of scenarios, which we have already written about on pages of our site, as the tasks of this Contest are in consistence with the objectives of the Alem Programme. The Foundation’s work in the project will consist in accumulating and sorting the information, ensuring communication links with candidates, as well as organizational functions.
On March 24, Almaty hosted a press conference dedicated to the start of the Contest. It was noted that it was confined to the Festival "Neskuchnoye Kino” Astana that took place annually in the capital of Kazakhstan in early July. Besides our compatriots, scenario writers from the United States, England, France, Spain, Korea and Russia will be able to compete for victory. Submitted works will be judged by a professional jury composed of the best world actors, directors and producers.
All people who want to essay their powers in a big movie are invited to take participation. To do this it is necessary only to read some of the terms and leave an application at www.astanafestival.kz or www.alemsaby.kz
We are confident that this project will be a breakthrough and a new star opened by the Bazelevs Company with our modest participation will rise above the horizon of the world cinema. |
